Most of my paintings begin as experienced adventures along the Coast of Vancouver Island.

In May, I came across a racoon crab fishing. It was a new and fun experience to watch this racoon walk along the shore and then reach into the water, dig around for a few moments and come up with a delicious treat. I was able to take a number of photos which have been my references for a crab fishing raccoon painting that is still in progress. Timelapse videos of my progress with this painting are available for viewing on my Instagram page.

The painting is nearly complete so the final artwork will be posted soon.

Currently my work is on display in Sooke's Annual Juried Show, which is online this year, at DRAW Gallery in Port Alberni, at the Reflecting Spirit Gallery, at the Ucluelet Credit Union, Soem Restaurant, in Ucluelet and two of my paintings will be on display at the Orange Door Gallery, in Ucluelet.
